Why should I buy LEDs instead of conventional lights and lamps?
There are many reasons why you should choose LED lamps and lights over CFLs (or similar), here are a few:
1. LED lights are more efficient. With electricity costs increasing, ways to save money using LED products are becoming more and more popular. By using LED light bulbs, running costs of electricity can be reduced by up to 70-90%! This is not only good news for you but also the environment! For example, a generic conventional GU10 lamp uses 50W of energy and a good LED lamp, that will output a similar amount of light only uses 5W of energy.
2. LEDs are non-toxic and better for the environment. LED lighting is one of the 'greenest' solutions available on today's market. For one, LEDs do not contain highly-toxic mercury which is bad for both the environment and your health. Secondly, the materials used in LED lamps are completely recyclable. LEDs produce less CO2, nuclear waste and sulphur oxide.
3. LEDs last longer than CFLs (or similar). A longer life-span on LED lamps is one of the main reasons many people are choosing to switch to LED lamps. LED lamps can have a life-span of up to 50,000 hours+, whereas incandescent lamps average only 1,200 hours and CFLs average 8,000 hours.
4. LEDs give more flexibility in colour and design. LEDs come in many different colours and designs that can be used in a variety of applications. From industrial to commercial, it is almost certain you will find the product you need. New technology has been developed to allow LED lights to be dimmed, which make them a perfect choice for residential properties.
What are the differences between Daylight, Cool-white and Warm-white?
Daylight, Cool-white and Warm-white are all different colours. Which one an individual chooses is usually dependent on the the location or mood the consumer is trying to create. Daylight (6000k) gives off a white, very cool type of light. Cool-white (4000k - 5000k) gives off a blue/white light. Warm-white (2700k-3200k) gives off a yellow/orange type of light.
Warm-white is usually used in apartments or homes to create the mood a conventional lamp gives and cool-white/daylight are usually used to create a more modern, clean, bright look and is usually used in commercial properties.

Are all of the items you stock listed on your website?
At the moment, our website only shows a select amount of products we have to offer. We have over 16,000 unique products in our warehouse. If you need a particular item, it would be best to contact us to find out whether we stock what you are looking for. In the case where we do not have what you are looking for, we may be able to order it in for you, as a special order.
Do you offer finance? Can I make payments?
Currently, we do not offer any type of finance. A full payment for the goods is taken when the order is placed. The order is then processed and shipped to the customer.
How do I open a trade account with you?
You must send a request to sales@bbew.co.uk. We will then send you a form either digitally or by post which you will have to fill out and send back. With the information provided, some background checks will be done. Once everything is verified, you will be contacted and told that your account has been opened.
When will I receive my order?
Once an order is placed, it may take up to 48 hours for the BBEW staff to process. Special orders and bespoke order may take longer to process. Once the order is processed, the order will be shipped out, which can take up to an additional 3-5 business days depending on your location.
